Blinds & Sheers

This wonderful Annagrove family home has been elegantly renovated by its owners, and we were delighted to be invited to design the homes window furnishings in the main family room, adjoining dining and sitting rooms.

This Annagrove project was such fun to do, our client knew what she wanted, had a colour in mind and wanted to primarily decorate the windows and doors elevating these spaces with a touch of luxury, whilst also tackling heat & light reduction.

For these spaces we opted for ceiling hung linen S-fold sheers and motorised blockout blinds behind.

Our chosen fabric; from Raffles Textiles “Venezia” range of soft linens. This beautiful range of linens comes in a light wash of pastel colours and grey tones. We selected “Silver” linen for these hand-drawn sheers with 100% fullness heading and matching 100mm hem.

Ceiling hung Silent Gliss 6010 tracks are our favourite tracking option for ceiling hung S-fold sheers. The profile is really sleek and with quality swing arm brackets being so discreet; they give such a clean seamless finish.

Hidden behind the sheers within the door and window reveals we fitted motorised Blockout Roller Blinds using “Icon” Fire FR fabric in “Seamist” to best match the rooms wall colour.

Installed in a “front roll” configuration they sit neatly within the window reveal and miss door handles & window winders when going to their down position.

These Roller Blinds are powered by the Somfy Altus 40 hardwired motor and controlled by a 15 channel remote. With 15 channels we are able to set up multiple room settings & moods by selecting each blind individually, grouping door and window combinations or by grouping rooms, all on one remote.
