Automatic Guide Awnings, which are also known as lock arm awnings, are one of Stylecraft’s most popular outdoor blind systems.
The Auto system simply allows the blind to be raised and lowered to any position by sliding the arms on the guide rods. The fabric is under tension from a spring inside the tube. When the blind is lowered or raised to your chosen position the arms lock against the guide rods. A cost effective way to block out our harsh Australian sun and UV.
The Automatic Guide Awning is a simple robust awning that has stood the test of time. One of the main strengths of an Auto Guide Awning is that it does not project far from the wall, so if a path or driveway is close to the window, the awning will not obstruct access. Arms come in 150mm, 250mm and 350mm lengths and can be customised to suit.
This awning features a wide choice of durable fabrics: Canvas, Acrylic and mesh. The fabrics we use are manufactured to suit Australian conditions, in fact they are so durable, they’ll look great for 15+ years. When the fabric does start to perish, the hardware is often still in perfect working order, so you can simply update your awning with a service and a new fabric.

Care
Depending on material choice, for general maintenance, clean with water and cloth, can be hosed down, but not with a pressure hose. Leave awning down to dry before rolling up. Alternatively, use our preferred cleaning company, for more info please contact our showroom.
