If drapery is not your thing, then vertical blinds are still one of the best options for large sliding doors. They do however, have a bad name and are deemed “dated” until our clients see the large range of beautiful new fabrics available.
One of our popular options is a sheer or transparent fabric drape, thicker than a sheer curtain, it still gives you privacy whilst defusing the light, it’s a beautiful way to dress a large aperture or sliding door arrangement, without looking dated.
The blinds can be fitted on the face or reveal and made to open and stack to left, right, the centre or on both sides. If fitted to the face, clients automatically think pelmet, however, our tracks are very low profile, come in a range of colours and we insert a fabric strip into the track to match the chosen drape.
Vertical Drapes are such a practical option for your home or office. You can control the light, privacy and view by rotating the blades 180 degrees or by completely drawing them open. When closed they do not provide sufficient blockout of light for bedrooms, with light bleed around each blade, these are best suited to sliding doors.
An affordable & practical option for rental properties as individual blades can be easily replaced.
