An amazing way of extending your living area out into the garden is to invest in a retractable roofing system. These are often used by our clients when wanting to cover a large patio or pool area, up to 30sqm. You receive all the benefits you would by installing a permanent shade structure with the added flexibility of being able to retract the roof either by remote, timer or sensor.

There are a huge range of lightweight and commercial structures available all with a wide range of fabrics to choose from. These can be fitted to an existing skylight, conservatory, erected to fit onto the side of a building or be totally free standing.
These structures are supported on two front posts either end of the awnings final maximum projection; they are extremely stable in windy conditions, up to force 6. Depending on fabric choice the roofing system also offers great water repellent qualities, with some brands offering a telescopic post to adjust the roof pitch and improve drainage, and others with built- in gutter and drains hidden within the framework.
Not only can these roofing system give great overhead cover, they can also come as a complete enclosure with external zip blinds fixed onto the roof posts or by attaching an additional zip blind to the valance of the awning
