Venetian Blinds
Venetian Blinds come in a variety of colours and are available in Aluminium, Painted Timber, Cedar, PVC and Fabric (see Soft Venetians). Venetians can be installed as a face fit (to the front of your window frame) giving you great coverage and protection from heat and light.
For full block out, we would recommend fitting a block out roller or Cellular Blind behind the Venetian, inside the window reveal to prevent light bleed through the slats. They can also be installed into the window reveal, leaving a 5-10mm gap down both sides and along the bottom, depending on the squareness of the window.
Venetians provide light control and optimum versatility. With a simple twist you can control the light and view. The blinds can also be easily raised to lock into any position and fully raised to flood rooms with light. Please note that to increase the lifespan of this product it is recommended not to fully raise the blind daily, instead use the tilt function to open and close the louvres.
Our “timber effect” painted PVC Venetians are a great option in both wet areas and living areas.
Our luxe Pure Wood Venetian range, made using real timber, can be customised with a woven tape which is available in a range of colours and widths, instead of the traditional string.

Care
Depending on material choice, for general maintenance, slide a feather duster along each louvre, for heavy cleaning, hang on washing line a hose down, wipe with cloth and leave to dry (except for western red cedar and unlacquered timber).
